Baluma (bah-loo-mah) the tropical house beetle. Currently housing four families with a population of 18 individuals. Baluma is estimated to be roughly 60 years old which is young for a house beetle. It is thought that the oldest of her kind are in their mid hundreds but there are texts to suggest some live to be a thousand. She is happy to hold up your books and encourages scholarly pursuits.
